LOCATION: Auburn, WA
PAY RATE: $66/hour

Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM 3:30 PM), Full-time, OT 10 20%

Summary:
Evaluate program/project requirements and develop complex equipment concepts and design solutions.
Compile and analyze technical data to determine impacts on product design, usability, and rate estimates.
Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomics, and regulatory standards.
Develop and release bid/purchase specifications for equipment procurement.
Troubleshoot production issues related to quality, safety, and repeatability.
Implement workarounds and maintain hardware/documentation configurations.
Perform studies and make recommendations for asset disposition.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (ABET preferred)
5+ years of related work experience, or equivalent advanced education/experience (PhD, Master s + 3 years).
Ability to work onsite and on the manufacturing floor (steel-toe shoes required).
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of project management experience in a production environment (technical projects, equipment solutions, spare parts inventory).
2+ years with hardware, software, and documentation configuration management.
3+ years working to industry standards and compliance codes (hardware/safety).
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
