PDS Tech Commercial, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and production of cutting-edge Ring Laser Gyroscopes and Tactical Guidance Products. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact aerospace technologies in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
About the Role
As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, efficiency, and innovation from concept through delivery.
What You’ll Do
Provide hands-on support for the manufacturing and testing of Ring Laser Gyroscopes and Tactical Guidance Products.
Analyze yield and performance data to monitor trends and drive improvements.
Apply CAMP, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to standardize engineering practices.
Troubleshoot technical issues and lead root cause investigations.
Develop and implement cost and cycle time reduction strategies.
Support new product development and ensure smooth integration into production.
Maintain test equipment and preventive maintenance plans to ensure factory readiness.
Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with optics, sensors, or electronic assemblies.
Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Background in regulated industries (aerospace, medical, automotive).
Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies.
