PDS Tech Commercial, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and production of cutting-edge Ring Laser Gyroscopes and Tactical Guidance Products. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-impact aerospace technologies in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

About the Role
As a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes, supporting production, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, efficiency, and innovation from concept through delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Provide hands-on support for the manufacturing and testing of Ring Laser Gyroscopes and Tactical Guidance Products.

• Analyze yield and performance data to monitor trends and drive improvements.

• Apply CAMP, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to standardize engineering practices.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and lead root cause investigations.

• Develop and implement cost and cycle time reduction strategies.

• Support new product development and ensure smooth integration into production.

• Maintain test equipment and preventive maintenance plans to ensure factory readiness.

• Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with optics, sensors, or electronic assemblies.

• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

• Background in regulated industries (aerospace, medical, automotive).

• Cleanroom manufacturing experience.

• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies.
