What You’ll Do

As an Equipment & Tool Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and improvement of production systems and equipment. Your day-to-day will include:

• Evaluating program and project requirements to develop advanced equipment concepts and design solutions.

• Reviewing electrical schematics, control panel designs, and resolving technical issues.

• Managing projects, including testing and commissioning of automated system acquisitions and modifications.

• Compiling and analyzing data to assess impacts on design, usability, and production rates.

• Ensuring compliance with safety, reliability, maintainability, ergonomic, and regulatory standards.

• Developing and releasing bid and purchase specifications for suppliers.

• Troubleshooting production issues related to safety, quality, and repeatability.

• Maintaining configuration of hardware, software, and documentation.

• Conducting studies and providing recommendations for asset optimization.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• 2+ years of project management experience supporting complex technical projects.

• 1+ years of experience with programming languages such as Java and SQL.

• 1+ years of experience working to industry standards in electrical system design.

• Experience in automation and robotics.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
