PDS Tech Commercial is proud to partner with a global aviation leader to hire skilled Technicians, Avionics/Electronics in Opa Locka, FL. This is your chance to work hands-on with advanced aircraft systems, directly impacting the safety and performance of aircraft trusted around the world.

What You’ll Do

As an Avionics/Electronics Technician, you’ll play a vital role ensuring aircraft readiness by:

• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and servicing aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment.

• Performing and documenting work in compliance with manuals, regulations, and quality standards.

• Operating ground support equipment as needed.

• Supporting mechanical/electrical removals and installations.

• Collaborating with other maintenance teams and assisting with off-site maintenance when required.

• Following safety and environmental procedures, including 5-S activities.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Technical school training in Avionics/Electrical Aircraft systems or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 5 years of avionics work experience (or substantiated equivalent).

• Experience on Daniels Kits

• Starlink experience 

• Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings.

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and basic PC proficiency.

• Personal set of basic hand tools with proven inventory and control practices.

• Ability to work overtime, variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and in inclement weather.

• Eligibility to obtain a SIDA badge (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

• FAA Certifications: Airframe, Powerplant, or A&P License.

• AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate or GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License).

• Experience with corporate jets and/or commercial aircraft.
