Chipton-Ross is seeking a Procurement Agent (Level 2) for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX, Tukwila WA or OKC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes. Basic understanding of cradle to grave procurement US government contracting At least an Intermediate competency level in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply. Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements. Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements. Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited Bachelor's degree (preferred) or a High School Diploma/GED (required).
TRAVEL Potential travel required (up to 5%)
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT;5:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
ADDITIONAL This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted.
