Microelectronics Wire Bonder

Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Microelectronics Wire Bonders for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
•Interim Secret required to start
•Familiarity with bonding microelectronic components, including manual gold ball and ribbon bonding
•Experience with manual and automatic bonding equipment
•Basic computer skills for timekeeping and digital work instructions
•Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
•Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment
•Ability to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods
•Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Fabricate microelectronic components and sub-assemblies using manual and automatic bonding machines
•Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality standards
•Read and interpret assembly process and work instructions
•Work with microscopic to large components requiring visual magnification
•Use hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers)
•Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes
•Collaborate with team members to support throughput and continuous improvement

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Experience with J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610
•Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment
Leadership, mentoring, or training aptitude

WORK HOURS:
•Full-Time
•4/10 work schedule
•2nd Shift
