Job Description:Adhere to General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hangar positions) Comply with environmental health, safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required Operate ground support equipment as required Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations Assist other maintenance disciplines, and maintenance at off-site locations How to Thrive:Avionics electric A/C Technical School or another substantiated equivalent Typically 2 years avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings Basic PC skills and the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and aircraft status Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required Must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays and be able to work in seasonal and inclement weather outside Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (if applicable) A Certification if required by customer (Commercial Aircraft) Airframe Certification, Powerplant Certification, or Airframe & Powerplant Certificate GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate Experience on corporate jet aircraft and commercial aircraft Preferred: • Highly preferred: Avionics experience on modification • Starlink experience • Experience on Bombardier corporate aircraft • Experience on Daniels Kits
Must have: • 5+ years on avionics corporate aircraft • Troubleshooting experience • Wire terminating • Pinning connectors • Wire routing • Wire harness building
