Ensure Excellence in Aerospace Quality as an Auditor

Schedule: Monday – Friday | First Shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $55 per hour (5–7 years’ experience) | $64 per hour (7+ years’ experience)

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a skilled Auditor. This role is key to maintaining the highest quality and compliance standards across both internal operations and suppliers. You will lead quality management system audits, support corrective action implementation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that ensure products and processes meet rigorous industry requirements.

What You’ll Do

As an Auditor, you’ll contribute to strengthening compliance and quality across the aerospace supply chain. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the development and execution of internal and supplier audit schedules.

• Conducting internal Quality Management System (QMS) audits in accordance with AS9100D requirements.

• Performing supplier QMS and product audits to ensure compliance and quality.

• Monitoring and tracking corrective actions for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party audits.

• Supporting site regulatory and customer audits.

• Reporting audit results and ensuring effective follow-up.

• Driving corrective actions to closure and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

Basic Qualifications:

• AS9100 Certification from an IAQG-certified trainer.

• Strong knowledge of quality tools such as RCCA, 5 Why, PFMEA, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR advanced degree with 2+ years, OR 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or related areas (preferably aerospace).

• Auditor certification AS9110.

• Experience with industry certifications (AS9100, AS9120, AS9102, ISO9001, AS13002, FAA).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and web applications.

• Ability to analyze and manipulate data for reporting and metrics.

• Familiarity with technical specifications, procedures, and drawings.

• Experience using SharePoint.
