JOB TITLE: Solder Technician - Microscope
LOCATION: Niagara Falls, NY
PAY RATE: $22/hour

Summary:

Perform electronic/electro-mechanical assembly tasks for production, prototypes, and development.

Work from schematics, blueprints, and oral instructions to build assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.

Use standard electronic assembly tools and materials.

Perform modifications, rework, and quality testing.

Collaborate with development and manufacturing engineering personnel.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience assembling components under a microscope

Strong visual acuity and attention to detail

Experience with miniature precision devices/components

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

Experience in ISO/cleanroom environments

Microscope assembly of miniature parts (e.g., watchmaking, jewelry, medical devices, hybrid microelectronics, accelerometers, gyros)

IPC J-STD-001 solder certification

Experience with electronic assembly and electrical testing
