JOB TITLE: Solder Rework Assembler - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL
PAY RATE: $24-29/hour

Job Details:

    Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

    Shift: Mon Thurs, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM EST; OT available on weekends

Summary:

    Seeking a skilled Solder Assembler specializing in advanced rework on circuit card assemblies and mechanical assembly related to circuit cards.

    Ideal candidates have strong soldering expertise, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a focus on precision electronics work.

    Perform advanced rework on circuit card assemblies, including:

      BGA reballing and replacement

      QFN and other leadless package rework

      High-density connector repair

      Complex SMT component replacement

      Through-hole and fine-pitch component soldering

    Use microscopes to verify part placement and orientation

    Inspect, troubleshoot, and improve assemblies

    Develop and implement rework procedures for new and existing products

    Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design/manufacturing issues

    Perform mechanical assembly tasks:

      Install stand-offs, spacers, and hardware

      Align complex mechanical components

      Use adhesives, epoxies, and bonding agents

    Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety/quality standards

Requirements:

    High school diploma or GED

    5+ years soldering and rework experience, with advanced techniques

    Strong knowledge of electronics assembly and repair principles

    Proficient with soldering equipment: irons, reflow ovens, and machines

    Experience with inspection/testing: microscopes, AOI, X-ray/AXI systems

    Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

    IPC certification (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
