JOB TITLE: Touch-Up Operator - Printed Circuit Boards - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $18-22/hour

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 2nd (3:30 PM 2:00 AM)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Inspect, align, and solder components using a microscope; perform post re-flow inspection and touch-ups
Identify and correct solder defects: poor wetted joints, voids, shorts/bridges, misaligned parts, tombstoned/billboarded components
Read instructions and identify standard SMT components
Work in a fast-paced environment; some overtime may be required
Sit for long periods while performing detailed, tedious tasks
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years experience in printed circuit board assembly with advanced surface mount and fine-pitch soldering skills
Experience working to IPC-610 and IPC J-STD-001 requirements (IPC certification preferred)
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings
Strong communication, organizational, leadership, mentoring, and training skills
Basic computer proficiency (Windows-based programs)
Experience in a LEAN Manufacturing environment
Must read and write English
Must pass a medical exam
Ability to work under a microscope for long periods
Must remain on 2nd shift (no conversion to 1st shift)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
