Fuel Cell Sealer – Aerospace Industry

Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (3 Months)
Schedule: Monday–Friday; must be able to work either shift
Pay Rate: $45–$47/hour + $110 per diem (for non-local workers residing 100+ miles away)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Fuel Cell Sealer to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. This role is critical to ensuring aircraft fuel systems are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.

As a Fuel Cell Sealer, you’ll play a vital role in sealing, finishing, and preparing major assemblies and sub-assemblies, contributing directly to the integrity and safety of commercial aircraft.

What You’ll Do

• Apply sealants (fillet, fay, cap seal, brush coat, aerodynamic seal, etc.) to integral fuel cells, major assemblies, and precision structures.

• Work from blueprints, specifications, work orders, and quality control requirements to meet strict aerospace standards.

• Perform data entry and transactions to track sealant progression.

• Conduct rework, fabrication, functional testing, and checkouts as required.

• Use measuring instruments and inspection techniques to verify quality.

• Document discrepancies according to established processes and specifications.

• Support continuous product flow by training, assisting, and coaching teammates across classification levels.

• Temporarily attach parts, install collars, and support assembly activities not involving drilling or countersinking.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace sealing, with strong emphasis on exterior aerodynamic seal work.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Comfortable using measuring instruments and inspection tools.

• Flexibility to work either first or second shift.

• Detail-oriented, with commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior training or certification in fuel cell sealing applications.

• Hands-on experience with large structures or major assemblies in aerospace manufacturing.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Training & Development

Candidates will receive specialized training to ensure success, including:

• SEA092, SEA083, ASY050 and additional online training modules.

• Training will be conducted in Wichita, KS.

• Flights, hotel, and mileage reimbursement covered.

• Hotel reimbursement applies only during the training period.
