Starting Pay : $45.52 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking a Systems & Test Manufacturing Planner to join our partner—an industry-leading aerospace innovator—in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the manufacturing process, developing and implementing plans that ensure aircraft systems and components are built with precision, efficiency, and quality. Your expertise will directly support major aerospace programs and delivery commitments.
As a Systems & Test Manufacturing Planner, you’ll be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and documentation that keeps complex aerospace manufacturing moving forward. Key responsibilities include:
Developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define as-built configurations.
Creating manufacturing concepts and strategies aligned with business objectives.
Preparing build analyses and cost estimate reports.
Leading integration of suppliers, processes, data, and technology to meet requirements.
Supporting source selection to ensure manufacturing readiness.
Developing complex tooling requirements and managing tooling lifecycle from design to disposition.
Investigating and resolving systemic manufacturing-related issues.
Performing producibility assessments and supporting enterprise-level benchmarking to drive best practices.
Leading development of work statements and sequencing of events for delivery commitments.
Drafting, updating, and reviewing processes and procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements.
Documenting new job practices, techniques, and standards.
You’ll work under minimal direction, applying your expertise to deliver consistent, high-impact results.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Manufacturing Planner experience.
8+ years of CAD software experience.
Ability to interpret and read 2D and 3D drawings and specifications.
Strong skills in analyzing and interpreting engineering data.
Solid knowledge of manufacturing engineering processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer applications.
Ability to pass a comprehensive third-party background check covering finances, residences, employment history, military service, and criminal behavior.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous aerospace Planner experience.
Experience with Gold ESP and MESCI systems.
Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in a related discipline and typically 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience.
