Manufacturing Operations Planner - FLRAA
Onsite in Amarillo, TX | 4x10 Schedule (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | $25–$42/hr
Join PDS Tech Commercial in partnership with a leader in aerospace innovation, supporting the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program. As a Manufacturing Operations Planner, you’ll play a key role in transforming engineering designs into reality—developing work instructions, coordinating tooling requirements, and implementing changes that drive production excellence.
As a Manufacturing Operations Planner, you will:
Incorporate engineering changes using enterprise systems, policies, and procedures while coordinating with Change Management and Manufacturing teams.
Use CAD systems to assess tooling needs and participate in tooling design and evaluation for aircraft assemblies.
Provide timely support to the factory floor, ensuring accurate changes to released production orders.
Reconcile Engineering Bills of Material (EBOM) with Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) to support accurate build execution.
Collaborate with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering to develop efficient, repeatable assembly sequences.
Apply knowledge of assembly processes and tool index requirements to production planning.
Deliver responsive liaison support to factory operations.
Drive problem-solving activities including redline support, root cause corrective action, and process improvements in manufacturing operations.
Required:
3–5 years of experience in Production/Manufacturing Planning.
Proficiency in ERP and CAD tools—experience with 3DX (Dassault), PEO (SAP), and SAP highly preferred.
Strong ability to interpret blueprints and digital product definitions (CAD, GD&T, etc.).
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling methodologies, and aircraft assembly MRB practices.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field).
