SAP Product Planning Configurator

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an experienced SAP Product Planning Configurator to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aviation industry. In this role, you will design, configure, and optimize SAP solutions that drive efficiency across production planning and quality management. Your expertise will directly impact the success of advanced aerospace programs and ensure seamless integration across critical business systems.
Configure and optimize SAP ECC Production Planning and Quality Management processes
Analyze, design, test, and enhance new and existing SAP applications
Collaborate with business users to align system capabilities with operational needs and build a backlog of enhancements
Identify, track, and resolve technical issues and risks with a proactive approach
Develop system specifications and interfaces across ERP, MES, and PLM platforms
Create detailed operational documentation and support application release deployments
Deliver on project commitments while keeping stakeholders informed of progress
Required Qualifications:
6–8 years of experience in SAP Production Planning and Quality Management
At least one full-cycle SAP implementation in Production Planning/Quality
Hands-on experience in manufacturing or the Aerospace & Defense industry
Strong knowledge of MRP, IBP, and forecasting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced SAP integration projects
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across IT teams, service providers, and end users
Proven ability to quickly resolve production issues in high-demand environments
