JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer I

PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Assist with installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.

Assist in completing tasks within allotted time frames.

Assist in maintaining required logs and records.

Comply with company programs, including FOD, tool control, 5S, and all safety regulations.

Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by the Supervisor.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

Must know how to use a multimeter.

Entry-level position.

Six (6) months of accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred.

Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred and/or successful completion of a current-year youth apprenticeship program sponsored in the area of expertise.

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Computer skills and general software knowledge required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
