Schedule: Monday–Friday; must be open to work any shift
Pay Rate: $35–$37 per hour + $110 weekly per diem for eligible non-local candidates

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking experienced Painters to support a leader in the aerospace industry. As a production painter, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to aircraft parts, assemblies, and test coupons. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will ensure products meet rigorous safety and performance standards critical to aerospace manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

• Apply finishes, coatings, and part identification markings to aerospace products.

• Prepare surfaces for painting using pneumatic sanders and hand tools.

• Perform processes such as media blasting, masking, stenciling, and touch-up work.

• Work from blueprints, process instructions, customer specifications, and job aids.

• Set up and use test equipment to verify compliance with customer requirements.

• Conduct self-inspections and complete required documentation in the FDAQ database.

• Maintain paint booths, mix rooms, and equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Move products within the shop using assigned equipment, including ovens and overhead cranes.

• Support continuous flow production by assisting and training teammates.

• Follow OSHA, ISO, and company safety procedures, including proper disposal of materials.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Prior aerospace painting experience.

• Ability to work any assigned shift.

• Ability to pass a respirator test.

• Commitment to safety, precision, and teamwork.

• Local candidates preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with MSDS data, OSHA and Nadcap standards.

• Familiarity with aerospace quality systems and audits.
