Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to guide system design.

Use analytical methods, FEA models/simulations, and industry tools to verify structural integrity throughout the product lifecycle.

Create and execute test plans; analyze and report results to validate compliance with specs and certification standards.

Investigate in-service product issues, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.

Develop tools and processes to enhance analysis quality and efficiency.

Work independently with minimal direction (non-managerial role).

Requirements:

Ability to obtain secret clearance

Bachelor s degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or chemistry (ABET preferred) or equivalent experience.

10+ years of structural analysis experience.

8+ years analyzing primary structures, subsystems, or weapons in aerospace.

Proficiency in hand calculations, CAD (PRO-E, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX/Teamcenter, CATIA/ENOVIA), FEM (PATRAN/NASTRAN, StressCheck, Hyperworks, Abaqus), and MS Office.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with tools (CAESAR, Lifeworks, Mechanica, Common Structures Workstation).
