Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM EST (1st Shift)

Summary:

Perform production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including modules, boards, panels, frames, cables, harnesses, and circuit cards.

Tasks include soldering, wiring, harness assembly, and operation of specialized equipment (e.g., laser wire strippers, coax processing tools).

Work from diagrams, schematics, drawings, and operations sheets to assemble, install, and terminate complex harnesses and assemblies.

May conduct quality inspections, rework/modify prototype assemblies, and test completed work.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Strong mechanical aptitude (hobbies involving soldering/model building a plus)

Experience in mechanical assembly, cable harnessing, and soldering

Ability to strip, crimp, and assemble copper/coax wire using hand tools

Ability to read and follow prints, diagrams, and written instructions

Wire harness print reading and blueprint reading skills

Strong written communication skills and computer proficiency

Ability to read/write English

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience with IPC 610/620 standards and cable assembly

IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification (preferred, not required)

Experience with quality inspections and prototype rework
