PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an experienced FAA Assembly Mechanic professionals to support mechanical assembly operations. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the construction, maintenance, and testing of aerospace components in a regulated environment.
About the Role
As an FAA Assembly Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for assembling mechanical equipment, identifying and replacing worn parts, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently. You’ll work under direct supervision, following established procedures and FAA guidelines to meet production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components to meet engineering and safety specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and testing of equipment and machinery.
Identify parts requiring replacement and place orders as needed.
Operate powered industrial trucks and follow safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and report to supervisors.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
2–4 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field.
Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in aerospace.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal training or apprenticeship in mechanical or technical fields.
Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision.
