Full-Time, Consultant (6 Months) | Fort Walton Beach, FL |Starting Pay $38.58/hr

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a global leader in aerospace, is seeking a Support Engineering Data Specialist to join their team in Fort Walton Beach, FL. In this role, you’ll directly contribute to the success and readiness of critical aerospace programs, ensuring that systems, tools, and parts are available when they’re needed most.

What You’ll Do

As a Support Engineering Data Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the CH-47 program by interpreting engineering data, analyzing logistics support information, and shaping maintenance and support strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading, interpreting, and analyzing engineering data, tool lists, and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) data.

• Evaluating the impact of engineering changes on technical documentation and support systems.

• Developing logistics support analysis records and reports to ensure operational readiness.

• Determining spares provisioning requirements, including spare/replacement parts, stocking levels, and recommendations.

• Writing, updating, and maintaining technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.

• Supporting the development of maintenance concepts, inspection requirements, and resource needs.

• Communicating findings and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams through both written and verbal reports.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR an equivalent combination (e.g., Master’s +1 year, 7 years of related work experience).

• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering data.

• Hands-on rotorcraft maintenance experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with technical data management systems or databases.

• Knowledge of logistics support processes within aerospace or defense industries.

• Familiarity with CH-47 or other rotorcraft programs.
