Electro Mechanical Assembler – Build Your Career in Aerospace

Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time Consultant (12 Months) | $20/hr | First Shift (8AM–5PM, Mon–Fri)

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a hands-on Electro Mechanical Basic Assembler to join our team in Phoenix. What You’ll Do

As an Electro Mechanical Assembler, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality aerospace components. You’ll work with tools, technical data, and computer systems to ensure precision, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Reading and interpreting technical data, assembly instructions, and engineering prints.

• Using hand and power tools such as calipers, torque wrenches, torque drivers, and soldering irons.

• Processing material requisitions and generating Non-Conforming Material (NCM) reject tags in SAP.

• Communicating work status across shifts and supporting staff, including engineering and maintenance.

• Assisting in corrective actions and resolving assembly or work area issues.

• Maintaining accurate records of all labor, verification, and assembly data.

• Following all safety protocols, including use of PPE and static-control equipment.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with office applications.

• Ability to write in a clear and concise technical manner.

• Physically able to meet demands such as lifting up to 25 lbs, standing/sitting at a workstation, and using hands for extended periods.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of aerospace manufacturing experience.

• Conformal coating experience (preferred, not required).

• Familiarity with SAP and labor charging systems.
