Traffic Management Analyst
Location: North Charleston, SC
Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (6 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | Must be available for all shifts (shift dependent on business needs)
Starting Pay Rate: $41.06 per hour

We’re seeking a detail-driven Traffic Management (Transportation Analyst) to join our team and ensure that employee transportation services are reliable, efficient, and continuously improving. Your work will directly enhance the daily experience of employees while helping optimize operations.
As a Transportation Analyst, you will be the go-to expert for analyzing and improving shuttle and bus operations. By turning data into actionable insights, you’ll drive service optimization, streamline costs, and support employee satisfaction—all while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront.
Analyze performance: Monitor ridership data, on-time performance, and utilization rates to identify trends and opportunities.
Optimize services: Develop strategies to improve shuttle and bus routes, schedules, and wait times.
Lead improvements: Design and implement service enhancement initiatives based on data and employee feedback.
Control costs: Evaluate operational expenses and recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Partner with transportation providers, HR, and other departments to ensure service alignment.
Engage employees: Gather and analyze feedback to ensure transportation services meet user needs.
Ensure compliance: Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that meet safety and regulatory standards.
Deliver insights: Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Extensive bus shuttle program experience.
Proven track record in transportation analysis, logistics, or similar roles with a focus on optimization.
Proficiency in data analysis tools/software (Excel, SQL, or similar).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred:
Experience with shuttle/bus services.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
