Summary:

Maintain and service aircraft seats, canopy ejection systems, O systems, fire extinguishing, air conditioning, cockpit heat, pressurization, and ventilation.

Remove, install, inspect, and rig ejection seats, Cartridge Actuation Devices (CADs), oxygen valves, gauges, converters, and regulators.

Perform daily, pre/post-flight, turnaround, launch, and recovery inspections, including plane captain duties.

Assemble/disassemble, modify, and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Conduct validation/verification testing of systems and components; ensure flight worthiness.

Document maintenance per contractual/regulatory requirements.

Support training, team collaboration, and compliance with all safety protocols.

Hands-on maintenance and inspection of F/A-18 ejection seats and related systems; collaborating with the team on repairs, installs, and validations.

Requirements

U.S. Secret Security Clearance required (may be obtained post-start)

HS Diploma/GED

4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, including ejection system work.

Skilled in removal, installation, inspection, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.

Ability to lift 35 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

PPE required: steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, high-visibility jacket, hard hat.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
