Test & Evaluation Lab Technician
Berkeley, MO | Full-Time Consultant (12 Months) | starting at $22.71 /hr | First Shift (7–8 AM Start)

PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry, is looking for a Test & Evaluation Lab Tech to join their team in Berkeley, MO. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of test equipment that supports multiple high-profile aerospace programs.
As a Lab Tech, you’ll play a vital role in the design, fabrication, and support of test systems. Working under close supervision with access to mentorship and training, you’ll gain valuable experience while contributing directly to the success of aerospace testing operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Participating in test design and assisting with the procurement, fabrication, and assembly of test fixtures and systems.
Supporting integration, setup, checkout, and teardown of test systems.
Conducting routine tests, analyzing data, and documenting results.
Troubleshooting basic lab and test-related issues.
Interpreting engineering drawings to select tools, materials, and build equipment to specification.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience reading and working from electronic schematics and/or engineering drawings.
Hands-on experience with crimping, soldering, and multimeter use.
Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge in a technical work environment.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from training and mentorship.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree (AA) or technical certification in a related field.
Prior aerospace, manufacturing, or test equipment assembly experience.
