PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Entity Controller-Accountant to support a leading aerospace client’s finance operations in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is ideal for professionals with strong accounting expertise, a passion for compliance, and a drive for continuous improvement in a multinational environment.

Your Role and Impact
As an Entity Controller-Accountant, you will be the end-to-end owner of accounting, control, and compliance for assigned entities. You’ll ensure accurate financial reporting, drive process improvements, and serve as a key business partner across departments. Your work will directly support internal and external audits, SOX compliance, and strategic financial initiatives.

What You’ll Do
Accounting, Control, and Compliance:

• Own accounting processes for high-complexity entities, including journal and account reconciliation approvals.

• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies, including project, inventory, and revenue/cost accounting.

• Lead balance sheet reviews and quarterly variance schedules.

• Perform trial balance flux analysis and identify anomalies using analytics tools.

• Review and substantiate balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve aged items.

• Support internal/external audits and SOX compliance with timely documentation.

Business Partnership and Process Improvement:

• Maintain transparent accounting practices and build strong stakeholder relationships.

• Review financial reports and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Partner with business units on new initiatives and manage ad-hoc financial queries.

• Provide financial analysis and reporting using SAP and other systems.

What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 2–4 years of experience in public or manufacturing accounting.

• Experience with financial statements for international manufacturing companies.

• Hands-on experience with SAP and HFM.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, and R2R processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or 150 credit hours.

• CPA candidate or licensed CPA.
