Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Assemble cable harnesses per wiring diagrams, form boards, and schematics

Perform soldering, crimping, plugging contacts into connectors, and torquing backshells to Class 3 IPC standards

Work from diagrams/drawings, perform layouts, and use hand/power tools, jigs, and saws

Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed work

Perform quality inspections per specifications

Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype or production assemblies as needed

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

1 2 years of experience in harness assembly

Proficient in:

Class 3 IPC standards

IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD, IPC-WHMA-A-620

Reading and interpreting engineering schematics

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
