JOB TITLE: Industrial Manufacturing Engineer

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 4/10 1st Shift (Mon Thu: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM, Fri: 7:00 AM 11:00 AM; schedule targeted as 4-9-4)

Summary:

Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining, and material handling

Develop sequence of operations and procedures for fabrication of tools, equipment, and production functions to improve performance

Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as needed

Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency; initiate corrective actions to resolve deficiencies and ensure product quality

Provide guidance to engineering on design concepts and specification requirements to optimize manufacturing techniques and equipment use

Ensure compliance with regulations, manufacturing standards, and process requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (Required)

5+ years of experience (10+ years preferred) in a manufacturing/industrial engineering environment

Strong knowledge of Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing principles

Proven self-starter with ability to take initiative on projects

Effective collaborator, able to work well with cross-functional teams

Not aerospace-related this role is specific to an industrial/manufacturing environment

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
