PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Engineering Support Specialist to join a cutting-edge team in the Aerospace Technologies sector for our client Honeywell. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced navigation and sensor solutions, supporting electrical design engineering teams in delivering high-performance products.

About the Role
Based in Clearwater, FL, you’ll work closely with the Electrical Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams to support engineering documentation, configuration management, and change control processes. Your contributions will be vital to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and innovation in electrical design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for schematics, parts lists, printed board assemblies, and PCB drawings.

• Coordinate ECNs across engineering, configuration management, and other stakeholders.

• Check engineering drawings against redlines and parts lists for accuracy.

• Perform copyediting and proofreading of technical engineering reports.

• Support the Electrical Engineering team with component research, data mining in Teamcenter, and general documentation tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline (Sciences, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or 15 years of relevant experience.

• 10+ years of experience working within engineering teams.

• 5+ years of experience using Teamcenter or similar PLM platforms.

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.

• Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills.

• Familiarity with navigation and sensor technologies.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.

• Knowledge of configuration management and engineering change processes.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
