Are you passionate about solving technical challenges and supporting mission-critical operations? PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a global leader in aerospace, is seeking a skilled Tech Support Specialist (Senior Network Operations Center Technician) to join the Tier 2 CAS Network Operations Center (NOC). In this role, you’ll help ensure the reliability and performance of complex communication systems that keep aircraft connected around the world.
As part of a 24/7/365 operations center, you’ll be at the frontline of troubleshooting and resolving network issues that directly impact aerospace safety and connectivity.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Monitoring network management systems and engaging telecom providers to drive restoral efforts.
Tracking and updating incident details in the management tool with accuracy and timeliness.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across IP networks, messaging systems, and air-to-ground data communications.
Collaborating with senior team members to resolve complex incidents and ensure uninterrupted critical services.
Training across three NOC roles—Transport, DataLink, and Applications—to monitor everything from routers and firewalls to ground stations, radios, and communication channels.
Analyzing issues, guiding customers through resolutions, and providing excellent service with attention to detail.
Participating in configuration, deployment, and maintenance routines, while recommending efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications:
AA/AS degree or 2-year post-high school training with 1–2 years of relevant experience, OR HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of experience.
Network+ Certification.
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, computer hardware/software interfacing, and ITIL/ITSM practices.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco devices.
Familiarity with HSRP/BGP routing protocols.
Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
CCNA Certification.
Experience with Remedy, Netcool, ServiceNow, or Office 365.
Previous NOC or aerospace industry experience.
