Chipton-Ross is seeking an Emergency Comm Tech 1 for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years' experience. High sense of urgency is required for proper disposition of emergency services. Expert ability to multitask and being an acute listener is a must. Timely work ethic, multitasking, and typing/computer skills
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Under direct supervision performs assigned tasks from detailed instructions, established policies and procedures. Protects the organization's physical assets by maintaining and safeguarding the physical perimeter, exterior, and interior perimeters of the facility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Prior emergency services experience is preferred (Military, Law Enforcement, Emergency Dispatch).
REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School diploma. School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS: 5/40 workweek. This position is for 3rd shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) rolling schedule with 2 days off per week. Essential position which requires weekend and holiday coverage.
