PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a mechanically skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to support aerospace manufacturing operations on 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong blueprint reading skills and a passion for precision machining in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

About the Role
As a Machinist, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, performing inspections, and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process. You’ll work in a team environment where accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes.

• Perform first-piece inspections and maintain quality on all parts.

• Follow job work instructions and quality procedures.

• Deburr parts and meet daily production goals.

• Edit G-code programs as needed.

• Track and run jobs in order of precedence.

• Log job information using the SAP system.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.

• Attend and participate in daily tier meetings.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).

• 1–2 years of CNC machining experience (preferred but not required).

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, OD mics, height gauges, and depth mics.

• Basic computer skills.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

• Must wear steel-toed footwear.
