Project Management Consultant – Aerospace Innovation

Rockford, IL | Full-Time Contract-Possible Temp to Perm) | $55.79/hr | First Shift (8AM–5PM)

What You’ll Do

As a Project Management Consultant, you’ll play a central role in identifying process gaps, designing solutions, and ensuring smooth project execution. Your contributions will help simplify complex workflows, improve invoicing accuracy, and enhance team productivity.

Key responsibilities include:

• VBA Development with SAP: Automate manual processes by designing, testing, and implementing VBA solutions integrated with SAP. Provide documentation, guides, and user training.

• Invoicing Process Enhancement: Develop standardized invoicing processes for AeroXchange and Personas platforms, including templates, tracking tools, and documentation.

• Process Mapping: Partner with subject matter experts to capture workflows and build detailed process maps using Visio.

• Project Oversight: Support Aeroxchange project management activities to ensure alignment with business goals and timely delivery.

Deliverables:

• Fully functional VBA tools integrated with SAP.

• Optimized invoicing tools/templates for AeroXchange and Personas.

• Comprehensive process maps and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

• Advanced degree required.

• Strong background in project management, technical process improvement, or related field.

• Experience with VBA development, SAP integration, and process documentation.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or process optimization projects.

• Proficiency with Visio or similar process mapping tools.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
