Procurement Assistant – Aerospace Industry

Hopkinton, MA | Full-Time Consultant (6 Months) | $32.51/hr | First Shift (7:30AM–5:00PM, 9x80 schedule)

What You’ll Do

As a Procurement Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently and delivered on time. Your work will help keep complex projects moving forward and enable groundbreaking advancements in aerospace technology.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Sending RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to suppliers and gathering competitive pricing.

• Generating purchase requisitions in SAP.

• Following up with buyers and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely information.

• Managing supplier relationships to meet on-time delivery goals.

• Supporting procurement teams with administrative and operational tasks to maintain project momentum.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with SAP MRP System.

• At least 1 year of purchasing experience.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with MS Office and general computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience generating purchase requisitions in SAP.

• 2+ years of experience soliciting RFQs and managing suppliers for on-time delivery.
