A&P Mechanic
Location: Piney Flats, TN
Pay: $23.72 – $37.96/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 4x10, Monday – Thursday (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a global leader in the aviation industry, is seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to join our team in Piney Flats, TN. This role offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in rotorcraft maintenance, ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards.
Conduct inspections and maintenance, including removal and repair of airframe and engine components.
Perform sheet metal repairs, major inspections, and drive train component maintenance.
Assist with post-maintenance flight testing.
Accurately document all work performed in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
Read and interpret installation instructions, maintenance manuals, and engineering drawings.
Collaborate with team members to achieve quality, safety, and schedule objectives.
Consistently demonstrate safe work practices and use of PPE.
Support other duties as assigned.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification required.
Minimum 4 years of related experience.
Rotorcraft experience required; rotorcraft experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency with hand tools and specialized airframe tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently and team-lift up to 50 lbs.
Capability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, crawling, climbing, or stooping.
Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visual acuity for detailed inspections.
