Data Shipping Specialist – Aerospace Industry | Dallas, TX

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Data Shipping Specialist to join our team, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll play an important part in ensuring that critical shipments—ranging from parts to hazardous materials—are processed correctly, safely, and on time. Your attention to detail will directly support smooth operations and excellent service for both internal and external customers.

Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (6 Months)
Location: Dallas, TX 75261
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 2nd Shift 12PM-8:30PM  Two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch.
Pay Rate: $16.30 to $19.50 per hour

What You’ll Do

As a Data Shipping Specialist, you will:

• Verify identification and check for damage on all incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Process and confirm shipping and receiving documentation for internal and external customers.

• Handle hazardous goods shipments in compliance with DOT requirements.

• Validate Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for chemical shipments.

• Maintain accurate inventory of shipping supplies to ensure readiness and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to follow detailed procedures with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

• Basic computer and documentation skills.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hazardous goods shipping procedures.

• Familiarity with DOT regulations and MSDS requirements.

• Previous shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
