PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Buyer to support procurement operations in a high-impact, fast-paced environment.

About the Role
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, equipment, and services while managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement strategies. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support operational goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase materials and services from approved suppliers.

• Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.

• Review and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate procurement.

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.

• Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and cost targets.

Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Knowledge of supplier relations, cost control, and buying strategies.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• SAP or ERP system experience.

• Background in aerospace or manufacturing.

• Experience with JIT (Just-In-Time) inventory practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

• Planning experience and strong analytical skills.
