Summary:

Perform on- and off-aircraft electrical modifications, repairs, and installations on wiring and system components.

Conduct complex connector terminations (shielded wires, coaxial, and fiber optic).

Route and handle wire harnesses; seal, wrap, bond, tie, and close per standard processes.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specs, and retrofit requirements.

Assemble, install, inspect, troubleshoot, and modify wire bundles and electrical assemblies.

Perform operational and quality checks; diagnose malfunctions in electrical and environmental systems.

Conduct bench and flight line operational testing per DoD, OEM, and company directives.

Safely use tools, precision measuring instruments, and follow FOD/Lockout-Tagout procedures.

Assist, train, or lead team members as required; support cross-functional teams (mechanics, structures, avionics).

Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits.

Adhere to safety standards and company/government procedures.

Requirements:

Must be able to obtain a TS clearance during onboarding (A comprehensive background check covering finances, residences, employment, drug use, military service, and criminal history will be required).

High School Diploma or equivalent.

4+ years of experience in electrical/electronic systems, troubleshooting, and repair.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Knowledge of schematics, electrical theories, and modification processes.

Ability to work rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd), weekends, and overtime.

Physical Requirements:

Climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift ~35 lbs (team lift >50 lbs).

Frequent standing, walking, reaching overhead, and balancing on uneven surfaces.

Occasional crawling, squatting, bending/stooping, and working on elevated platforms.

Exposure to noise, metals, and hazardous materials.

Must pass visual acuity and color perception tests; use PPE as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Depot-level or modification maintenance experience.

Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and powered elevating equipment.
