Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

    Perform operational testing and troubleshooting of avionics and aircraft systems.

    Install and test electrical/avionics components per engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.

    Ensure installations are defect-free and troubleshoot to provide timely, high-quality repairs.

    Repair or replace defective components and wiring using splicing, soldering, and pinning techniques.

    Implement engineering changes and modifications as required.

    Set up and operate test equipment; conduct functional and operational tests to verify performance and reliability.

    Document all work accurately for inspection.

    Maintain test equipment, electronic systems, and components.

    Follow FOD, tool control, 5S, and safety programs.

    Adapt to schedule changes as needed.

    Support aircraft certification and final-phase testing, including flight tests as required.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

    High School Diploma or GED required

    Four (4) years of experience in avionics/electrical field, or two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling plus two (2) years related experience

    A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred

    FCC and NCATT certifications preferred

    Proficiency in troubleshooting other aircraft systems (hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, structural installations) is preferred.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Must be able to climb stairs/ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
