Customer Account Specialist

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to join our team, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry. This role is based at our Phoenix MRO facility, where we specialize in repairing electronic components for aircraft. In this position, you’ll play a critical role as the face of the organization, ensuring smooth interactions with both internal and external customers while managing high-volume repair orders with accuracy and care.
As a Customer Account Specialist, you will:
Administer and process 150+ commercial and military repair orders daily, including acknowledgments, quotes, and invoices.
Manage customer interactions, ensuring proactive communication and resolution of issues.
Interpret and execute customer contractual requirements with precision.
Monitor and mitigate on-time delivery risks to maintain service levels and avoid financial penalties.
Determine validity and manage the disposition of warranty claims.
Ensure compliance with Global Trade regulations in all transactions.
Required Qualifications:
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Bachelor’s degree.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle high-volume workloads.
A team player who is detail-oriented, self-directed, and demonstrates critical thinking.
Proficiency in managing complex computer-based transactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP.
Knowledge of U.S. Government Repair Contract Administration.
Familiarity with FARs, DFARs, CAV, and PIEE systems.
