Location: San Antonio, TX
Job Type: Full-Time, Consultant (9 Months)
Schedule: Monday – Friday; must be available for variable shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) based on business need
Pay Rate: $33.00/hour
PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to support the prestigious VC-25B Program in San Antonio. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team maintaining and modifying one of the most high-profile aircraft programs in the world. As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will:
Perform and assist with aircraft electrical modifications, wiring, and system components.
Complete connector terminations, routing, sealing, wrapping, and harness installation.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and retrofit requirements.
Support troubleshooting of electrical and environmental systems, both on the bench and on the flight line.
Assist with operational testing, installations, and modifications of wire bundles and electrical assemblies.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, government, and company requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (structures, avionics, general mechanics) to meet cost and schedule goals.
Uphold the highest quality standards by following SA Tool and FOD procedures.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
1+ years of experience as an aircraft or electrical mechanic.
1+ years of experience/knowledge of electrical/electronic theories and systems.
Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
Ability to pass assessments during training.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired):
Experience with Depot Level/Modification maintenance.
Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, or elevating equipment.
