PDS Tech Commercial, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to support the prestigious VC-25B Program in San Antonio. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team maintaining and modifying one of the most high-profile aircraft programs in the world. Your skills will directly contribute to the safety, reliability, and mission readiness of these aircraft.

What You’ll Do

As an Aircraft Mechanic, you will:

• Perform and assist with aircraft electrical modifications, wiring, and system components.

• Complete connector terminations, routing, sealing, wrapping, and harness installation.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, and retrofit requirements.

• Support troubleshooting of electrical and environmental systems, both on the bench and on the flight line.

• Assist with operational testing, installations, and modifications of wire bundles and electrical assemblies.

• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, government, and company requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (structures, avionics, general mechanics) to meet cost and schedule goals.

• Uphold the highest quality standards by following SA Tool and FOD procedures.

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications (Required):

• 1+ years of experience as an aircraft or electrical mechanic.

• 1+ years of experience/knowledge of electrical/electronic theories and systems.

• Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).

• Ability to pass assessments during training.

• Capable of performing physical requirements including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, lifting up to 35 lbs., and wearing protective equipment.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired):

• Experience with Depot Level/Modification maintenance.

• Ability to operate a forklift, mobile crane, or elevating equipment.
