PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aviation industry to hire a Commercial Certification Procedures Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring compliance with FAA Orders and shaping the procedures that keep aviation safe, reliable, and forward-looking.
As a Certification Procedures Specialist, you will directly support the development and revision of ODA procedure manuals to ensure compliance with FAA Orders. Your expertise will guide certification processes, help maintain high standards, and contribute to advancing industry-leading aviation programs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze differences between FAA Order 8100.15b and 8100.15c.
Develop new ODA procedure manual content or revise existing procedures to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Support certification and ODA regulatory initiatives with attention to detail and accuracy.
Prioritize tasks independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of related aerospace experience.
Strong knowledge of FAA Orders; ability to identify differences between 8100.15b and 8100.15c.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-starter with proven critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge of certification and ODA regulatory environments.
Experience working directly with the FAA.
