Manufacturing Operations Planner – FLRAA Program
Location: Amarillo, TX | Schedule: 4x10, Monday – Thursday (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Pay: $25–$42/hour, based on experience
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Manufacturing Operations Planner to join our partner, a leader in the aviation industry, supporting the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in bridging engineering with manufacturing—translating cutting-edge designs into precise, efficient, and repeatable production processes that drive the success of next-generation aircraft.
Incorporate engineering changes using established systems, policies, and procedures while coordinating with Change Groups and Manufacturing teams.
Utilize CAD systems to analyze tooling requirements and collaborate on tool design and evaluation.
Provide timely, accurate updates to factory production orders and support the floor with responsive liaison assistance.
Reconcile Engineering Bills of Material (EBOM) with Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) to ensure accurate consumption and error resolution.
Partner with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering to create efficient build sequences for major assemblies.
Demonstrate knowledge of assembly processes, tooling requirements, and redline/root cause corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across tooling, processes, and operations.
3–5 years of experience in Production/Manufacturing Planning (aviation industry experience preferred).
Skilled user in ERP systems (Bell ERP, SAP, or equivalent).
Prefer experience with Dassault 3DX, PEO, and SAP tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and digital product definitions (CAD, GD&T).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling methodologies, and aircraft assembly (MRB experience preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in a related field highly preferred (or equivalent experience).
