Chipton-Ross is seeking a Data Analystfor a remote contract opportunity.
For this position, remote work is preferred, and full-time telecommuters within the continental United States will be considered. On-site work at any major client facility might also be a possibility. Travel might be required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • US Citizenship • Experience with SAP migrations and SAP S/4 implementations, particularly data • Experience with data analytics development in one or more of these tools: Tableau, SSRS, PowerBI, and SAP BOBJ • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) and manufacturing execution systems (MES) and their integration with business processes • Experience analyzing business requirements through workshops with business functional SMEs to assess reporting needs against future state reporting • Ability to distill and communicate insights from complex data • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business process stakeholders and teammates • Ability to learn and understand business data in relation to various business processes and systems • A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems/Sciences, Mathematics, Quantitative Social Science or other relevant discipline

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Data Analyst, you will support the facilitation of 1LMX gap report workshops with business process experts. Based on the outcome of the workshops, you will assess requirements of current RMS reports and determine how they will be executed as part of a common report or if a gap report will need to be created. You will learn about business data in relation to the various business processes and systems. You will also gain hands-on experience with data migration projects. Your work will directly impact the RMS preparation for the migration to SAP S/4 in 2028, and your contributions will help drive business process improvements and efficiencies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): • Experience working with cross-functional, diverse, and virtual teams • Knowledge of Agile development processes and tools • Understanding of system databases, data elements and application software solutions to optimize data gathering and analysis • Prior experience with enterprise analytical reporting and data (one or more functional areas - Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sustainment).
REQUIRED EDUCATION: A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems/Sciences, Mathematics, Quantitative Social Science or other relevant discipline **Education MUST be accredited**
