JOB TITLE: Quality Assurance Engineer
LOCATION: Largo, FL
PAY RATE: $79.86/hour

Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Ability to Obtain (can start without clearance)
Shift: 1st Shift, 4x10 (Mon Thurs, on-site)
Core Hours: 9 AM 3 PM CST

Summary:
Support program team with a focus on continuous improvement and proactive risk reduction.
Identify process variation/nonconformances, analyze data, and implement innovative supply chain solutions.
Ensure production site activities align with AS9102 and risk management standards.
Provide root cause analysis, full containment, and corrective/preventive actions.
Support customer and program management requirements.
Lead Material Review Board (MRB) activities and failure diagnosis.
Develop technical solutions for complex problems; provide liaison support for quality engineering issues.
Ensure contract flow-down requirements are met and verified with LM production sites.
Review manufacturing documentation to ensure compliance and delivery of quality products.
Collaborate in Integrated Product Teams; analyze quality data (yields, rework, scrap, nonconformance).
Requirements:
Bachelor s Degree (STEM) and 8+ years of experience
4 6 years: Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), supplier interaction, problem-solving manufacturability issues, Quality Management Systems (QMS), source inspection & FAI per AS9102
6+ years: knowledge of complex mechanical/electrical concepts, QMS
Experience with complex electronics assemblies
J-STD-001 certification/training (inspection)
IPC 610/620 certification/training (inspection)
Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance (can start without clearance)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
