PAY RATE: Up to $55/hour

Summary:

    Support our commercial space operations team.

    This role involves hands-on composite fabrication, repair, and assembly work to ensure the reliability and safety of space flight systems.

    Assist in developing maintenance manual definitions for vehicle systems and structures.

    Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on space flight system vehicles.

    Trim and finish composite assemblies.

    Assemble structures, including setup, bonding, and fastener applications.

    Conduct surface prep, hand/power abrasion, and laminate assembly per documentation.

    Prepare parts for vacuum bagging, bonding, and elevated temperature curing.

    Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, and scales.

    Repair composite laminate assemblies, including close tolerance scarf repairs.

Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Valid FAA A&P License (required).

    3+ years with layup, bonding, or assembly of composites (2+ years with composite tooling materials).

    3+ years of composite experience.

    Experience preparing, bonding, and curing composite structures.

    Knowledge of composite repair methods and quality standards.

    Ability to follow policies and procedures with minimal supervision.

    Familiarity with standard maintenance procedures.

    Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
