Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: Monday Thursday, 5:00 AM 3:30 PM EST

Summary:

Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

Soldering wires and terminals, working from diagrams and drawings, performing initial layouts, and using hand and/or power tools.

Conducts continuity checks on in-process and completed work and may perform quality inspections in accordance with established specifications.

May also disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies under simulated conditions.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

2+ years of hands-on experience soldering wires to terminals (full-time role)

IPC-620 trained or certified

Experience soldering under a microscope

Experience with assembly under a microscope

Ability to solder both mechanical and electrical systems

Proficiency in wire harness print reading and blueprint reading

Basic computer skills (email, file access, SharePoint, etc.)

Ability to read and write in English

Must pass a medical exam

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
