Job Type: Full-Time; Consultant (3 Months)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $17 per hour

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Painter to join our aerospace team in Medley, FL. 

What You’ll Do

• Assemble manufactured materials and components following design specifications.

• Perform priming and final painting of detail parts and assemblies to required specifications.

• Mix paint to specified viscosity and maintain paint equipment.

• Clean, assemble, and adjust spray guns and related tools.

• Wash, sand, and prepare parts for painting; mask parts as required.

• Cure parts after topcoat application.

• Operate chart recorders and document processes accurately.

• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a safe, clean workspace.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience with painting and finishing work in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

• Ability to mix, prep, and apply paints according to specifications.

• Knowledge of painting equipment operation and maintenance.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous aerospace assembly or painting experience.

• Familiarity with BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy and documentation.
