PDS Tech Commercial is seeking mechanically inclined and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as FAA Assembly Mechanic. This swing shift opportunity offers hands-on experience in a regulated aerospace environment, with structured training and a generous attendance-based bonus program.
Your Role and Impact
As a FAA Assembly Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment and components. You’ll follow detailed instructions and safety protocols to ensure the reliability and performance of aerospace systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assemble mechanical components to meet quality and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and testing of machinery and equipment.
- Identify and replace worn or malfunctioning parts.
- Operate hand tools and powered industrial equipment safely.
- Follow FAA-compliant procedures and work orders.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report to supervisors.
- Complete initial training on day shift before transitioning to swing shift.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Familiarity with basic mechanical concepts and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

- Pay Rate: $21/hr
- Shift: Swing Shift – 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday–Friday (OT as required)
- First 9 months of training will need to be completed on day shift 5:30am - 2:00pm
- Bonus Opportunity: Up to $3,000 through our Subco Bonus Program
- $1,000 after 14 days with perfect attendance
- $1,000 after 60 days
- $1,000 after 90 days (must have received 14-day bonus to qualify)

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
