PAY RATE: $60-62/hour

Summary:
Act as the quality SME for composite and metallic fabrication, assembly, and integration.
Support shop floor teams daily, resolving quality issues and driving real-time solutions.
Lead NCR dispositioning, RCCA investigations, and CAPA/CAB initiatives.
Conduct FAIs (AS9102) and verify compliance with requirements.
Review and approve MWIs, inspection plans, tooling documentation, and drawings.
Apply expert-level GD&T for manufacturability, tolerance analysis, and design validation.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure production readiness and manufacturability.
Foster a proactive, prevention-focused quality culture.
Requirements:
Bachelor s in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
10+ years aerospace quality engineering experience, including spacecraft or aircraft assembly.
SME in composites and metallic manufacturing.
Proven expertise in FAIs, MWIs, drawing reviews, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), and NCR/MRB.
Strong leadership in RCCA, CAPA, and quality improvement initiatives.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Spacecraft or launch vehicle integration experience.
Lean Six Sigma certification.
Experience with CMMs and metrology systems.
Active or recent security clearance.
